Following the completion of a 90,000 square foot office and R&D campus in San Jose, CA, the client requested an employee dining facility with full service kitchen. The facility operated by an outsourced food service company, and has the capacity to serve 300 hot meals a day over all three shifts.

Architectural details, finishes, and furniture were designed to break the large room into smaller scale zones in order to avoid the impersonal feeling of a cafeteria. One area of the room sports a whimsical mural, brightening an otherwise dark corner.
