One of two projects built together following a long process of community building, historic preservation reviews, Planning Commission hearings, building permit process and extensive neighborhood meetings.

The original house had been badly mangled and was restored to its original splendor with painstaking study and historic preservation review. This new house at the front of the site is a modern interpretation of the historic context in which it sits. While still respecting the architectural detail of the street front and neighborhood, it takes a much fresher approach to the design.
